Our in-depth review

Vic.ai is autonomous accounts payable automation. It captures invoices, extracts and codes the data, matches purchase orders, routes approvals and pays, aiming to turn AP from manual processing into exception handling.

What it does well: accuracy and scale. It reports 97 to 99 percent processing accuracy, climbing as it learns your vendors over the first few months, and has processed hundreds of millions of invoices. For high-volume teams it frees several hours per AP analyst each week and cuts the cost per invoice sharply. Integrations with NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics are first class, and every AI decision is logged with a confidence score, which auditors and reviewers value.

Where it falls short: it is built for volume. The return only really lands above roughly 500 to 1,000 invoices a month, so it is overkill for small businesses. There is no public pricing or free version, access is via demo and quote, and setup is a project: mapping your chart of accounts, approval workflows and training the AI takes several weeks, not minutes.

Best for: mid-market AP teams and accounting firms serving mid-market clients on NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Dynamics, processing high invoice volumes.

Verdict: arguably the most credible autonomous AP tool for high-volume, ERP-based teams. If your volumes are large and your ERP fits, it is transformative. If you are small or just starting, a lighter tool like Ramp or Bill is the better first step.

Autonomous invoice processing that holds up at real volume — strongest fit for high-volume AP teams rather than small practices.

Pricing
Not published; quote-based annual contracts scaled to invoice volume, arranged through a demo request, with no self-serve tier. Third-party reviews report an entry point around USD 500 per month rising steeply for enterprise, which is not a vendor-published figure. Now sold as a modular platform, with APSuite for invoice processing, PO matching and approvals alongside separately named VicInbox, VicPay, VicCard, VicAnalytics and VicAgents modules, so the quote depends on which of those are included.
