Who we are: The AI Ledger (ailedger.uk) is a UK-based information service operated as a sole trader business. Contact: hello@ailedger.uk.

What we provide: editorial reviews, comparisons, a tool directory and newsletters about AI software for accounting professionals. All content is general information, not professional, financial, tax or legal advice. Verify any tool's suitability, pricing and compliance for your own practice before purchasing.

Affiliate disclosure: some outbound links are affiliate links. If you click one and later purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our scores or verdicts, and sponsored content is always labelled.

Accuracy: we work to keep listings current (see "last verified" dates) but software, pricing and features change frequently. We make no warranty that information is complete, accurate or current, and accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of it.

Pro subscriptions: paid via Stripe, billed monthly or annually, cancellable any time from your account page with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Statutory rights unaffected.

Acceptable use: no scraping, republishing our content at scale, or misuse of the service. All site content is our intellectual property or used with permission.

Liability: to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to any amount you have paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

What we collect: name and email when you subscribe or create an account; your finder answers (task, software, practice size) to personalise recommendations; anonymous click and usage analytics (Google Analytics); payment handling is by Stripe, we never see your card details.

How we use it: to send the newsletter you asked for, operate your account, improve recommendations, and measure which tools readers click. We do not sell personal data.

Processors we use: Base44 (site hosting), beehiiv (newsletter), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (usage stats).

Your rights: under UK GDPR you can request access, correction or deletion of your data, and unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
