About Audit Sight

Audit Sight is an assurance technology platform that automates financial transaction verification for auditors, due diligence and private equity teams. It connects directly to client banking and accounting systems, then applies AI-powered classification and natural language search so practitioners can test transactions without relying on client-prepared spreadsheets.

In September 2025 the company released its Audit and Review Analytics Module, adding automated trend analysis on financial statement balances, drill-down anomaly detection, customer and vendor concentration analysis and key ratio calculations. The module works across any client, industry, general ledger or ERP system, and followed the earlier launch of its Management Meeting Module.

It is positioned for audit and advisory firms that want verified source data and analytics in one workflow rather than another sampling tool.

Our in-depth review

Audit Sight tackles a real bottleneck in small and mid-sized audit practice: getting verified transaction data out of client systems and into testable form without weeks of PBC back and forth.

What it does well. Direct connections to banking and accounting systems give auditors source-verified data rather than client-prepared spreadsheets, which strengthens evidence quality. The Audit and Review Analytics Module adds trend analysis, anomaly detection, concentration analysis and ratio calculations across any GL or ERP, and an AI-assisted classification and natural language search layer speeds up exploration. Serving diligence and private equity work as well as audit gives it a broader base than pure audit tools.

Where it falls short. It is a data and analytics layer, not a full audit methodology platform, so firms still need their workpaper and methodology stack alongside it. Pricing is not published. The AI leans more towards classification and search than the agentic automation rivals now advertise, and coverage depends on client systems being connectable in the first place.

Best for. US-focused audit, review and diligence teams at small to mid-sized firms that want verified transactions and analytics without building their own data pipeline.

Verdict. A pragmatic evidence-gathering workhorse rather than a flashy AI suite, and often the more defensible purchase.
