About Suralink

Suralink is a document workflow platform for accounting firms, built around the PBC request list. Its core product replaces spreadsheet and email-based request tracking with a dynamic list, a client portal and real-time dashboards, and it adds secure file sharing and e-signature as options.

The platform has since been extended with agentic AI. The Cloud Testing Suite adds Document Prescreen and Data Vouching agents that validate uploaded support and trace samples as they arrive, while the Financial Statement Tie Out module runs agents for mathematical accuracy, internal consistency, prior year consistency and version comparison, exporting a report with tickmarks. The Workpaper Suite is an Excel add-in that links workpapers to client documents held in Suralink and works alongside any binder provider.

It is aimed at audit, tax, advisory and internal audit teams, with audit associates, seniors and managers as the day-to-day users and firm leadership as the buyer.

Our in-depth review

Suralink started as a PBC request list tool and has spent the last two years layering agents on top of it. The bet is that if you already own the point where client documents arrive, you are best placed to automate what happens to them next.

What it does well. The agent library is specific rather than vague. Document Prescreen checks support as it lands, Data Vouching traces samples, and the tie-out agents handle footing, cross-footing, internal consistency, prior year comparability and version-to-version diffs, which is exactly the tedious work that eats junior time in December and January. Suralink also keeps an AI audit trail, and the Workpaper Suite Excel add-in is deliberately binder-agnostic, so firms are not forced to change their engagement software to adopt it. The install base among mid-size firms is real and long-standing.

Where it falls short. Everything meaningful requires the CORE platform, and the AI capabilities are add-ons on top of that, so the total cost climbs quickly and no list price is published. Third-party sites quote entry pricing around 17 US dollars per user per month, but Suralink's own page only offers a demo request. Several agents are recent and the site still advertises more agents coming soon, so buyers are partly purchasing a roadmap.

Best for. Audit-heavy firms already drowning in PBC chasing that want automation where the documents land.

Verdict. One of the more credible agentic audit offerings, provided you can stomach a stacked add-on pricing model with no published numbers.
