About Fiskl

Fiskl is an AI-native accounting platform covering invoicing, expenses, bills, payments, reconciliation and financial statements, built around multi-currency and multi-country working. It supports 170 currencies, invoicing in more than 60 languages, and a dynamic multi-ledger architecture that handles e-wallets alongside conventional bank accounts.

The product is operated by Fiskl Limited, registered in England and Wales, and lists partnerships with Revolut, Chase, Airwallex and Wio Business. For practices it offers Fiskl Atlas, a free firm portal that consolidates every client file into one real-time view, plus an accounting partner programme. It is fully functional on mobile across iOS, Android and a Chrome extension, which is unusual in this category.

It is positioned at small and medium businesses trading across borders, and at the accounting firms that serve them.

The AI Ledger

Our in-depth review

Fiskl is a full small business ledger rather than a bolt-on agent, pitching itself as an AI-native alternative to Xero and QuickBooks with multi-currency handling as the wedge.

What it does well. The multi-currency work is the genuinely differentiated part. Transaction-level currency control, matching across three or more currencies and automated FX gain and loss recognition are the things that break in mainstream small business ledgers, and a firm with internationally trading clients will feel that difference quickly. The Atlas portal is free for firms and gives a real-time consolidated view across client files, which lowers the cost of trying it. Mobile coverage is the most complete of any platform in this bracket, and published entry pricing from around $15 a month makes it cheap to pilot.

Where it falls short. Every efficiency figure on the site is Fiskl's own: 80% less manual work, 41% higher accuracy, 32% faster onboarding, 57% cost savings, and the 98% categorisation accuracy claim. None carries a stated methodology or an independent test. Compliance depth is the real gap for a UK or US practice, with no statutory accounts production, no corporation tax filing and no working papers, so it sits alongside compliance software rather than replacing it. The partner and customer logos shown are small in number, and this is a long-standing product being repositioned around AI rather than a fresh rebuild.

Best for. Small firms and bookkeepers whose clients invoice and bank in several currencies, and who want reconciliation and FX handled in the ledger rather than in a spreadsheet afterwards.

Verdict. The strongest multi-currency option at this price point, provided you already have compliance and accounts production covered elsewhere.
