About ChatFin
ChatFin sells AI agents for corporate finance and accounting teams. Its product set covers Reconciliation AI, Document AI, Compliance AI, Analytics AI and Automation AI, and it offers prebuilt agents for close and controllership, procure to pay, order to cash, treasury and FP&A, expenses and audit, tax and compliance, and reporting. Agents draft actions such as journals or invoice postings, a person approves them, and every step is logged for audit.
The website says it connects to 16 ERPs and names NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, SAP Business One, JD Edwards, Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Plex and Snowflake; QuickBooks and Xero are not listed. It states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit and a choice of US or EU data residency. Named testimonials come from finance leaders at companies such as Vivino and Persimmon Technologies, and the company says Fortune 500 businesses use it, without naming them.
No prices are published; buyers book a demo. It is positioned for mid-sized and enterprise finance teams running a mid-market or enterprise ERP.

Our in-depth review
ChatFin is trying to sit on top of an existing ERP and do the repetitive parts of finance operations: reconciliations, invoice posting, collections, variance commentary and close checklists. The pitch is breadth, with an agent for most CFO-office workflows rather than a single deep product.
What it does well. The ERP coverage is wide for a young vendor, reaching from NetSuite and Sage to SAP, Oracle, Workday and Dynamics 365, which suits groups with more than one system. The control model is sensible: agents propose, a person approves every write, and actions are logged, which is what an auditor will ask about first. The stated security credentials, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 with EU data residency available, are the right ones for a UK or European buyer to check off.
Where it falls short. Almost everything public about results comes from the company itself, including figures such as a three-day close and 78% of invoices posted automatically. I found no independent reviews or trade-press coverage of deployments, and the blog is heavy on forecasts about agents in 2026 rather than case evidence. No pricing is published and there is no self-serve trial. There is no QuickBooks or Xero connection and no UK-specific features such as MTD VAT, so it has nothing to offer the SME client base of a typical UK practice. Breadth across eight workflow areas also raises the question of how deep each one really is.
Best for. Mid-sized and enterprise finance teams on NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP or Dynamics who want to pilot AI agents on a specific workflow, such as AP or reconciliations, without changing ERP. For close management specifically, established products such as FloQast or BlackLine have far more evidence behind them.
Verdict. A credible-looking platform with the right security and approval model, but thin on independent proof. If you evaluate it, pick one workflow, run it on a month of your own data, and ask for two reference customers on your ERP before talking about a wider roll-out.
