About Reach Reporting

Reach Reporting is a cloud financial reporting platform for accounting and advisory firms, small businesses, franchises and nonprofits. It pulls data from the accounting system and turns it into interactive dashboards, report packs, budgets and forecasts that a firm can share with clients through a portal.

The vendor's AI Financial Reporting page describes an automated AI analytics dashboard that surfaces insights on liquidity, cash flow and ratios. Other features include three-way budgeting and forecasting and multi-entity consolidation. It connects to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, MYOB, Digits, Gusto, Google Sheets, Excel and CSV files. Sage is not mentioned on the pages we read.

Pricing is published in dollars on a connection basis: $149 a month for one connection, $290 for ten and $550 for 25, with a 30-day free trial and no card. Our in-depth review

Reach Reporting sits in the crowded middle of the reporting market: a firm-oriented dashboard and report tool with a modest AI layer on top. It is built around QuickBooks and Xero users, with a US-style commercial approach and published dollar pricing.

What it does well. Pricing is the standout. Per-connection plans at $149, $290 and $550 a month are easy to model against a client list, and a 30-day no-card trial is generous. The tool covers the practical reporting basics a firm needs, including multi-entity consolidation, three-way budgeting and a client portal, so a practice can replace spreadsheet packs. The automated insights give each dashboard a first-pass commentary on liquidity and cash flow, which saves time on routine reviews. Having reviews on Capterra and the QuickBooks and Xero marketplaces gives a buyer more than vendor claims to check.

Where it falls short. The AI is lightweight next to dedicated FP&A tools, and on the pages we read it amounts to automated insights rather than a conversational analyst. Funding and investors are not stated. Sage is not listed among its connections, so a UK practice on Sage should look elsewhere. A SOC 2 Type 2 claim is hinted at through a linked blog post, but we did not see it stated on the page itself, so ask for the report.

Best for. Accounting and advisory firms on QuickBooks or Xero that want branded reporting packs and a client portal at a predictable price, and franchise or multi-entity clients who need consolidation without a full planning system.

Verdict. Run the free trial against two or three real clients, including one multi-entity group, and check how long the first dashboard takes to set up and how much you can restyle. If you want more forecasting depth, compare Clockwork; if you want a UK-leaning reporting tool, look at Spotlight Reporting or Fathom. For straightforward, well-priced reporting with some AI help, Reach Reporting is a sensible shortlist entry. Ask how many report templates are included, whether the client portal can carry your branding, and how long onboarding typically takes for a firm moving existing packs across.
