About LiveFlow
LiveFlow builds finance software for multi-entity and multi-location businesses and now sells two products. LiveFlow FP&A automates consolidation, reporting and budgeting on top of existing accounting software, with live QuickBooks Online and Xero data delivered into Google Sheets and Excel, plus dashboards and a FinanceIQ analysis layer. Its Xero connection, launched in 2024, is built around combining several Xero organisations into one set of reports.
Flow, launched in February 2026, is an agentic accounting platform that LiveFlow describes as a replacement for QuickBooks Online. It combines the ledger, AP and AR, intercompany accounting, eliminations, multi-currency consolidation and FP&A in one system. Eight named agents, including an orchestrator, a reconciler, a categoriser, a bill handler and an AR clerk, work through the close and escalate to a person when judgement or approval is needed, and all agent activity is logged. The company says Flow is SOC 2 Type II compliant and that median migration takes under two minutes. It has a native Ramp integration, and bank data runs through Plaid under its FCA authorisation.
LiveFlow says more than 6,000 businesses in North America and the UK use its platform. It targets construction, healthcare, food and beverage, retail, franchise and private equity groups, and the fractional CFOs serving them.

Our in-depth review
Multi-entity clients are where QuickBooks and Xero strain: consolidations rebuilt in spreadsheets each month, intercompany balances that never quite agree, and management packs that arrive weeks after month-end. LiveFlow started by fixing the reporting side of that problem and is now asking clients to move the ledger itself onto Flow.
What it does well. The original FP&A product remains its strength. Live QuickBooks and Xero data in Google Sheets or Excel, with consolidation across files whose charts of accounts differ, saves fractional CFOs real hours and lets them keep their own models. Flow is a coherent next step for groups that have outgrown a stack of company files: one system for every entity, native intercompany accounting and specialist agents that draft entries and reconcile while humans approve. Logging every agent action and holding SOC 2 Type II are the right foundations for AI that touches the ledger.
Where it falls short. Pricing is not published for either product; it is quoted after a demo. Flow is eight months old, and its migration claims are the company's own and not even consistent: one page says under two minutes, another as little as a day. LiveFlow's own Xero page has listed multi-entity consolidation as coming soon while the Xero marketplace lists it as live, so test it on your actual group. Replacing QuickBooks loses the app ecosystem, payroll links and lender familiarity, and nothing on the site covers UK VAT or Making Tax Digital in Flow. Fathom and Syft Analytics are cheaper for single-entity reporting.
Best for. Fractional CFOs, outsourced accounting teams and in-house finance at multi-entity groups on QuickBooks or Xero, especially franchises, construction and multi-site healthcare. Trial the FP&A product on your most complex group and check eliminations against your own consolidation. UK groups should keep the ledger in Xero; US groups wanting an AI-native ledger can compare Flow with Rillet or DualEntry.
Verdict. Strong live multi-entity reporting on QuickBooks and Xero, with an ambitious agentic ledger that is too new to trust with UK compliance.

Strong live multi-entity reporting on QuickBooks and Xero; the new agentic Flow ledger is promising but unproven, especially for UK compliance.
