About Kolleno
Kolleno is accounts receivable and collections software with offices in London and New York. Its plans combine a customisable payment portal with payment links and multiple payment options, a customer dashboard, collections inbox management, automated workflows and dunning, SMS and call allowances, auto-reconciliation, customer portfolios, team collaboration and reporting. AI agent support is included from the Business Plus plan, and the top plan combines AI with human agent support.
The pricing page lists Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Intacct on the entry plans, Clio on Business Plus, and NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP and Oracle Fusion on Enterprise, with further support for Workday, Sage 300, Sage X3, Acumatica, Exact, Stripe, Chargebee, Zuora, GoCardless, CSV and an open API. Kolleno says it is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR compliant, and encrypts data with TLS 1.2 and AES-256. Deel is named as a customer, and the company reports a 31 per cent fall in overdue invoices among its users, its own figure.
Plans are banded by turnover, from businesses above £1m on BusinessPay to groups above £100m on Enterprise, so it suits growing SMEs through to large organisations.

Our in-depth review
Kolleno is credit control software for businesses that have outgrown reminder emails: it brings collections, customer payments and reconciliation into one workspace so a finance team can see what is owed, chase it and match it when it is paid.
What it does well. UK fit and range. It is London-based, prices in sterling, and supports Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Intacct on its entry plan, with Business Central, NetSuite, SAP and Oracle for larger clients and Clio for law firms. The payment portal and payment links shorten the route from reminder to cash, the collections inbox keeps customer conversations in one place, and auto-reconciliation closes the loop. Security credentials are strong for the size of company, with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 both claimed. The Deel deployment, with dunning tailored to customer segments, shows it can handle complexity.
Where it falls short. Price is a real barrier for smaller businesses. BusinessPay starts at £650 a month, or £545 on annual billing, and Business Plus is £1,245 a month, with extra charges possible for integrations and add-ons. The AI is described only as agent support on higher plans, without much detail on what it does, so test it rather than buy on the label. Sage 50 and FreeAgent do not appear in the integration list, which matters for many UK small businesses. Turnover bands mean a growing client may be pushed up a tier.
Best for. UK businesses above £1m turnover with a credit control function, and practices running outsourced credit control for larger clients on Xero, QuickBooks or Sage Intacct. Smaller businesses and Sage 50 users will usually get better value from Chaser, while US mid-market software firms may compare Tesorio or Fazeshift. In a trial, connect a live ledger, run a month of dunning on a segment of customers and check how part payments reconcile.
Verdict. A capable UK-built collections platform with strong security and a broad ERP range. Its price puts it above most small businesses, but for mid-sized firms with a real overdue problem it is a serious alternative to Chaser.
