About Daylit

Daylit is a Boston-based accounts receivable platform whose AI agents chase slow-paying customers by email, phone and text, draft replies in the collections inbox for staff to review and send, segment customers as the portfolio changes and produce a 13-week cash flow forecast from customer payment behaviour. It launched its AI agents on 31 March 2026, according to its press release, and the FAQ says fully autonomous replies may follow later, only with the customer's opt-in.

Daylit says it connects to most cloud ERP platforms and draws context from ERP, CRM and past email and phone history, with customers live within 48 hours of kickoff; specific ERPs are not named on the homepage. It completed a SOC 2 Type I examination in February 2026 and says Type II is in progress. Alongside the software it offers embedded capital: selling invoices, outsourcing net terms, customer payment plans and working capital draws, backed by a bank partner. The company reported a $110m funding round led by Companyon Ventures in September 2025 and says more than 200 companies use it.

It is positioned for US mid-market businesses in legal, manufacturing, staffing and field services. Pricing is not published.

Our in-depth review

Daylit pairs two things that usually come from different suppliers: AI agents that do the chasing, and a lender that will buy the invoices if chasing is not fast enough. For a finance team, the job is turning receivables into cash by whichever route is cheaper.

What it does well. The agent design is cautious in the right way. Drafts go to a person to review and send, autonomy is promised only on an opt-in basis, and the agents adapt to how each customer pays, according to the company. Multichannel chasing by email, call and text suits industries such as field services and staffing, where customers often ignore email. The 13-week cash forecast is a useful by-product of collections data, and the claim of going live within 48 hours, if it holds, is unusually quick for AR software. Embedded financing gives a business an immediate fallback when a big customer pays late.

Where it falls short. It is a US product for US industries, and nothing on the site addresses UK accounting systems, UK debt collection rules or sterling financing. The homepage does not name a single ERP, so a buyer must confirm support for their system rather than assume it. Security is still maturing: the homepage says SOC 2 compliant while the FAQ says Type I was completed and Type II is in progress, so ask for the reports. The financing products deserve careful scrutiny of fees and recourse terms, and there is an obvious incentive for a platform with a lender attached to steer customers towards selling invoices. Performance figures such as DSO cut by up to 40 per cent are the vendor's own.

Best for. US mid-market businesses with large, slow-paying B2B ledgers that want both collections automation and access to receivables finance. UK businesses and practices will find a better fit in Chaser or Kolleno, which support Xero, QuickBooks and Sage, while US enterprises may compare Tesorio or HighRadius in this directory.

Verdict. A well-funded, sensibly governed AR agent with a distinctive financing angle. Worth a look for US mid-market teams, but young on security and opaque on integrations and pricing, and not built for UK buyers.
